AE goes to LA
Like a cat, our film "Vampir" seems to have nine lives. Once again it has resurfaced and is back in the spotlight. But this time it has caught the attention of some folks out West - specifically, Los Angeles, CA. The director of the Holly Shorts Film Festival saw "Vampir" on IFILM and invited us to participate in his festival. The festival will be held August 13-14th.
Also, while out west we will begin to shoot our next short, which is as of now "Untitled." Upon our return we will begin posting weekly video and written updates on the progress of the film, so keep an eye out.
Wish us luck and show your support by spreading the news of "Vampir" and its sporadic success.

vampir premieres on IFILM
"Vampir" will debut to a global audience on 07/07/2005 after being designated as an "IFILM Pick" by the IFILM Programming Committee. We submitted the film almost a year ago with nothing but the slimmest of hopes that IFILM would even see it. As it turns out they did.
As an IFILM pick "Vampir" will be showcased and/or advertised on the IFILM.com home page, IFILM channel pages, IFILM showcases, IFILMpro, WindowsMedia.com, Yahoo! and elsewhere across the IFILM Network.
IFILM has launched the careers of many young filmmakers over the past few years, so please support "Vampir" and help make us one of the many IFILM success stories.

Abrupt Entertainment was recently chosen to be a ManiaTV! Featured Filmmaker for the week of May 23rd. The film "Vampir" premiered Wednesday, May 25th on the show "Too Short for Hollywood" and has received a huge response.

new bounty conceptual artwork
"In a world governed by bounty hunters and demons, one man driven by revenge struggles to bring justice to a dying land."
Abrupt Entertainment has currently been working on finding investors for the upcoming motion picture "Bounty." The narrative will be conveyed through a fusion of the western visual style of Sergio Leone (Good, Bad and the Ugly) and the experimental cinematography of Wong Kar Wai (Chungking Express, Fallen Angel). The screenplay pays homage to classic Clint Eastwood westerns while adding a new chapter to the genre by fusing the western ideals and motifs into a modern fantasy.

vampir: triggerstreet.com official selection
It was announced on triggerstreet.com that Vampir has been chosen as an Official Selection for their 6th online film festival. It along with 49 other films have been given this honor.
